Presentation by Alexandru Raevschi
You are invited on Friday, August 10, at 18:00, at the Center KSAK to attend the presentation
given by Alexander Raevschi, who spent three weeks in residence at Atelierhaus Salzamt
in July/2012 in Linz, in the frame of Black Sea Calling Artist In-Residence Exchange
Programme.
Alexandru will talk about his art practice, specifically he will elaborate on two projects he
realized in Austria: photo project "Entry to the top level?", and ongoing research project, which
will be presented at the exhibition in Vienna in 2013.
Black Sea Calling is a program of collaboration and exchange of artists between 9 art
institutions based in countries around the Black Sea (Art Today Association from Plovdiv/
Bulgaria, Center for Visual Introspection from Bucharest/Romania, [k:sak] Center for
Contemporary Art, Chisinau/Republic of Moldova, CCA - Center for Contemporary Art
from Kiev/Ukraine, n.n. from Russsia, GeoAIR, Tbilisi/ Georgia, Cultural Center of Mekhitar
Sebastatsi Educational Complex from Yerevan/Armenia, n.n. Baku/Azerbajan, NOMAD from
Istanbul/Turkey) and 5 art institutions from Austria (Graz / < rotor > [project coordinator]
in collaboration with CCN Graz Krems / AIR Krems Linz / Atelierhaus Salzamt Innsbruck /
Kunstlerhaus Buchsenhausen Vienna / Kunsthalle Exnergasse /WUK)
In the frame of Black Sea Calling exchange program we expect Michael Zinganel from
Austria who will spend four weeks in residence at [KSA: K] Center for Contemporary Art,
Chisinau in the fall of 2012.
