What is Pecha Kucha Night?
Pecha Kucha Nights are informal and entertaining gatherings for creative people to share and show their ideas, works, thoughts – almost anything – in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.
The presentations are held in Pecha Kucha 20x20, a presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The presentation format was invented by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture in order to help architects presenting their ideas in a short and concise way.
The first Pecha Kucha Night was held in Tokyo in 2003, and due to its success it was soon followed by many others and not just in Tokyo. Hence Pecha Kucha Nights soon became a global network including cities from all over the world.

Why should I participate in Pecha Kucha Night?
The idea of Pecha Kucha Night was based on the need for a public platform where creative people can meet to introduce their ideas and works and start discussion about them in a cozy and relaxed ambience.
Besides the unique atmosphere and pleasant amusement the events provide an opportunity for the participants to get feedbacks, inspirations as well as to find partners for realizing their ideas and initiate cooperations.
